관세음보살은 중생의 소리를 살피고 자비로써 고통을 덜어주는 보살입니다.

아미타불의 왼편에서 대세지보살과 함께 협시하며, 자비의 덕을 상징합니다.

2023년 이즈갤러리 전시에서 《아미타래영도》를 소장하신 분께서, 기존 작품에 대세지보살과 관세음보살을 더해 아미타삼존도로 함께 봉안하고자 의뢰해 주셨습니다.

대세지보살과 한 쌍을 이루면서도 기존 《아미타래영도》와 자연스럽게 어우러질 수 있도록, 고요하고 온화한 자비의 기운을 담아 제작했습니다.

세 작품이 한자리에서 오래도록 평안과 지혜, 자비의 의미를 전하는 아미타삼존도로 함께하기를 바랍니다.
 

Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva is the embodiment of compassion, listening to the cries of all beings and easing their suffering with boundless mercy.

Standing at the left of Amitābha Buddha alongside Mahāsthāmaprāpta Bodhisattva, Avalokiteśvara represents the virtue of great compassion.

The collector who acquired my painting Amitābha’s Descent at the 2023 Is Gallery exhibition later commissioned this work, wishing to complete an Amitābha Triad by adding both Avalokiteśvara and Mahāsthāmaprāpta Bodhisattvas to accompany the original piece.

Created as a harmonious counterpart to Mahāsthāmaprāpta while blending seamlessly with the existing Amitābha’s Descent, this painting was made to convey a quiet, gentle presence filled with compassion.

It is my sincere hope that these three works will remain together for many years as an Amitābha Triad, offering enduring blessings of peace, wisdom, and compassion.
